Alt rocker Melanie Baker’s new track HAHA! will be featured on tonight’s episode of Channel 4’s Made in Chelsea.
HAHA! is taken from Melanie’s recently released debut album ‘Somebody Help Me, I’m Being Spontaneous!’. Recorded in a small, feverish cabin in rural Wales, ‘Somebody Help Me, I’m Being Spontaneous!’ is a wily exercise in cartoon realism and sees the enigmatic musician turn to absurdist humour, highlighted by the album’s Truman Show-referencing title and the carnival chaos of its cover art.
In Melanie Baker’s world, the chaos of teenage bedrooms and old-school rock videos meets a confessional, emotional core.
