Alongside inspirations of Daughter, Lucy Rose, Warpaint, and Teed, Nicholson combines introspective lyricism, brooding piano, subtle electronics, delicate guitars and weighty drum grooves to carve her own sonic identity.
Brought up on the likes of Pink Floyd and Tori Amos soaring melodies, powerful lyricism and intuitive song structures formed the basis of Jodie’s journey into songwriting.
Nicholson’s self-produced, self-released works have picked up over 40 national radio plays across flagship BBC stations, not to mention two syncs on ITV’s Love Island.
