Grunge pop and glam rocker Du Blonde’s track Blame was featured on the latest season of Apple TV’s historical drama series The Buccaneers. Set in the 1870s during the Gilded Age, The Buccaneers revolves around five wealthy and ambitious American women and their experiences in London’s high society as they deal with culture clashes, differing approaches to tradition, friendship and love.
Du Blonde’s ‘Blame’ is taken from their latest studio album ‘Sniff More Gritty’, a 12 track album of glittering glam rock, grunge pop and indie guitar anthems almost entirely self-produced and an ode to liberation. ‘Blame’ tells the story of tells the story of a long-time-coming explosion of rage and defiance in the face of gaslighting within an interpersonal relationship.
