Hailing from North Wales, WRKHOUSE are a bilingual four-piece crafting atmospheric, groove-heavy alt-pop that blends infectious hooks with expansive, textured production. The band quickly built momentum with their debut EP Out of the Blue, earning a Triskel Award at the 2024 Welsh Music Prize.
Rooted in their North Walian heritage but shaped by a modern alt-pop sensibility, WRKHOUSE’s sound balances confidence, emotional depth, and a strong sense of place. Support from CLASH, BBC Radio 1’s Sian Eleri, and BBC Introducing’s Jess Iszat has helped grow a dedicated following, bolstered by a UK-wide support tour and live shows known for their immersive, high-energy feel. With backing from Help Musicians and PRS Foundation, WRKHOUSE are now deep in the studio, working on their next body of work and pushing their sound into bolder, more expansive territory as they move through 2026.
