Since the release, Ed Carter has been focusing on developing a diverse portfolio of musical compositions, films and interdisciplinary artworks that are context-specific, with a focus on the creative process.
He has produced ambitious work with budgets in excess of £500,000, collaborating with a wide range of partners including architects, scientists, engineers, and programmers, and has received awards from such diverse organisations as Channel 4, Arts Council England, Ordnance Survey, Cancer Research UK, and the Royal Academy of Engineers. These projects led to regular collaborations with visual studio NOVAK, who specialise in creating large format video, and stunning outdoor projection mapping works. Working as composer and sound designer, Ed’s scores and productions have been presented at numerous stunning locations, including UNESCO World Heritage Site Durham Castle, the BAFTA headquarters in London, and Singapore Art Museum.
