Last week Warm Digits were welcomed to the BBC Radio 6 studios to record live session tracks for Marc Riley.
The band played out live versions of ‘End Times‘, ‘The Rumble & The Tremor‘ and ‘Swallow The City‘. All three tracks feature on the band’s new album ‘Wireless World‘ which will be released on August the 4th by Memphis Industries. The show is available to listen again here.
‘Wireless World‘ is the sound of Warm Digits at their sharpest and most crisp. An album full of propulsive and melodically rich songs, and for the first time featuring vocals from some of their favourite artists: Peter Brewis of Field Music, Sarah Cracknell of Saint Etienne, Devon Sproule, and Mia La Metta of Beards.
Wireless World is available to pre-order via Warm Digits website on limited edition red vinyl, black vinyl and cd. The album is also available to pre-order digitally via Apple. All orders include an instant download of the single ‘End Times (feat. Field Music)‘.
Accompanying the announcement of details of the new album the band have released the second single from it, ‘The Rumble and the Tremor‘, featuring the magical Devon Sproule on guest vocals.
